JCEDC wants to ensure that our businesses, communities, and partners know what resources are available to them and businesses in their community. Please share JCEDC’s no-cost, confidential services with those in your community who may need it.

IF YOU ARE A BUSINESS: JCEDC has been working to educate and communicate with primary/major employers to ensure they are up to date on all the latest information and how it may affect their business. Contact JCEDC if you are experiencing any of the following, as there may be programs to help you:

-Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC) Program
-Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program
-Missouri Shared Work
-Missouri Unemployment  

IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS: As an official co-counseling location for the Missouri Small Business Development Center at State Fair Community College (MOSBDC at SFCC), we are continuing to provide small business assistance in many areas. Read more about JCEDC’s small business services.   In addition to the information above, JCEDC provides a Microloan Program, with loans up to $10,000 for small businesses in Johnson County, with expedited processes in place. Since 2006, the Microloan program has provided $125,000 to Johnson County businesses. Funds are limited, please contact JCEDC as soon as possible to learn more.
