As Johnson County reopens, a note from JCEDC

In News by JCEDC Staff

Johnson County, Missouri healthcare facilities and businesses have played a critical role in the effort of slowing and stopping the spread of COVID-19. As the county begins the process of safely reopening, JCEDC would like to recognize the tremendous economic and personal sacrifices that many of our healthcare facilities, businesses, and their employees have made in the effort of community health. JCEDC recognizes those that have worked tirelessly, and continue to work, to develop strategies to create safe workplaces for employees and customers. Your commitment to the region’s health has not gone unnoticed and that is why we are able to move to the next phase in Johnson County, Missouri’s Response and Recovery Plan.

As we move forward, we will continue to balance the need to maintain our region’s economy with the protection of the community’s health. There are many resources available to assist you in reopening while also considering the public health needs of the local workforce, customers, and community.
