MISSOURI INTERNATIONAL TRADE & INVESTMENT TEAM VISITS CENTRAL MISSOURI ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE REGION
Representatives from the Central Missouri Economic Development Alliance (CMEDA) hosted representatives from Missouri International Trade & Investment (MIT) offices on Monday afternoon October 7, 2019 in Clinton. The team from Missouri International Trade & Investment were on a 3 city tour of various development regions to learn more about development opportunities and foreign owned firms in the region. The group from MIT represented trade offices in India, Canada, and Mexico as well as officials from Jefferson City.

The Johnson County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Warrensburg recently launched a new website, www.opportunitywarrensburg.com, that highlights the opportunities available in the two federally designated Opportunity Zones located in the City. Aptly named “Opportunity Zone NW” and “Opportunity Zone SW”, the two Zones encompass much of the western side of the City limits.
